Cookie policy

What we set, why, and how to refuse the optional ones.

This page explains what this site stores on your device and why.

What we use

The site is deliberately light on tracking. It sets a session cookie so forms work and a security token to protect form submissions against cross-site request forgery. Both are strictly necessary — without them you could not send us an enquiry — and neither is used to identify or follow you.

Things stored in your browser

Some pages remember your own working state locally. The packing list, for example, saves which items you have ticked so they are still ticked when you come back. That data stays in your browser, is never sent to us, and can be cleared with the button on the page or by clearing your site data.

Analytics

We record which pages are viewed so we can tell what people find useful. Where this is done in a way that involves storing anything on your device beyond what is strictly necessary, we ask first, and you can decline without losing any functionality.

Managing cookies

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the enquiry forms from working.
